One of the main ambitions in the development of elcoCAD R4 was
the complete independence from any preset CAD standard. The
new ECOT based technology (elcoCAD cognitive object technology)
allows the adaptations of other CAD-standards per mouse click
(click & learn). This high degree of flexibility is essential
considering the increasing compatibility demands that arise
from the Facility Management sector. For Electrical Contractors
the ability to bring in existing CAD-data, alongside their own
modifications, is the key-factor with regards to cost effectiveness
and use of a CAE/CAD-system.
Amongst our client list in the UK are ARUP, Novar (T5), Johnson
Controls, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Building Design Partnership and
Mott MacDonald. Also, leading companies such as ABB, Bosch Telecom
and Siemens are using multiple networked versions of elcoCAD in
