Which AutoCAD versions are supported ?
R4 supports AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
It also works as an add-on to Architectural Desktop (ADT) version R2, R3, R3.3, ADT 2004 and ADT 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Which operating systems are supported ?
R4 runs under Microsoft Windows © NT 4.0, Windows 2000, XP (home and professional versions) and Vista 32 Bit Home, Business, Enterprise.
Windows 98 and ME are supported, but not recommended for professional enviroments. A Windows Vista version will be available soon.

Will elcoCAD R4 affect my existing AutoCAD installation ?
No, elcoCAD R4 enters one additional pulldown-menu alongside the standard AutoCAD menus.

How can I share my drawings with other elcoCAD R4 users ?
elcoCAD R4 contains EPX (elcoCAD Project eXchange), a comprehensive drawing and database exchange system, allowing the user to interchage complete project data information.

How can I share drawings with non-elcoCAD users ?
elcoCAD R4's ECOT (elcoCAD cognitive object technology ) online-database uses a special mechanism, that is able to create object databases from scratch, i.e. if an elcoCAD R4 user manipulates a drawing, by copying or moving elcoCAD R4-objects, ECOT will automatically update the object database after reimport.
